It's patch day children! Prepare for a lot of QQ-ing before we can actually do anything in-game at all.

Ok. The laptop that I have is a Dell Latitude 110L. Right now I can't use it because the power jack inside the thing has come loose, and I can't get it to stay powered. Because of that problem it has been sitting powered down in its carrying case for some time now. If anyone out there is aware of a way to remount the jack in such a way that I'll be able to use the laptop again I'd be ever grateful. The warranty has long since lapsed so that is not an option.

I have somehow managed to breathe life back into my computer and having thought it died on me back in July (I think it was July). I repeated what I did just to make sure it'd work a second time and it did. So HOO-FREAKIN'-RAY for me having my computer working again!

Well I've started digging around in my Rifts RPG material again. Right now I'm cleaning up what I've already had written. Later I might get around to writing some new stuff. If any of you out there are interested in talking about the Rifts setting or whatever feel free to give a holler.

In the entry dated 7/14/08 03:35 pm, I said that I'd wait for 100 years for what I was searching for I would. What a load crock of idealistic bull that was. I give up on the intent behind it. What brought that post on is lost to me, and I'm tired of getting burned by it.

Does anyone have an ATX 250 Watt (or better) Power Supply for sale cheap or that they'd be willing to just give me?

I would like to find someone that knows a fair deal about computer hardware, and possibly software, that can help me puzzle out what exactly is wrong with my desktop computer. All I know is that after a series of three days during stormy weather where our power was knocked out long enough to shut my computer off. After the first two occurrences however it turned right back on when I came down in the morning. The third time though it did not.

It's amazing what the lack of a functional computer of one's own can do to a person's interest in doing anything. I've got stuff that I want to work on but I can't seem to keep enough focus, and interest, in things to want to do anything.

I don't mind it being tempremental but if it ever stops working on me completely I'll scream. I'd be out of computer altogether.

Well now I am out both of my computers. I still don't know what is wrong with my desktop. My laptop though I am fairly certain that the power connector inside the machine has come loose from the board. So I need to get it re-anchored or just get a new laptop. The cheaper, and easier, course of action is to get it re-attached. So having one, or both, of my computers back up would be one of my wants right now. Another want of mine right now would be to get a copy of the D&D 4e core rulebooks for my own use.

We had to move again. Those damn Bugs keep catching up to us. The twins lost their favorite aunt almost a week ago now. It broke our hearts to watch the Killer Bees tearing her apart. Little H keeps his sister near mostly because I guess that they feel safe together. I've made them both a small computer game set-up that their young minds can understand. I hope that this keeps them from thinking of their aunt too much. We have made it to what used to be called Colorado Springs, Colorado. I figure we have at least another day's worth of travel before we have any chance of meeting someone from the NORAD shadow government. We'll see tomorow afternoon. I have to go put the kids to bed now.
